Railbird celebrates the spirit of Kentucky with highly-curated bourbon experiences in The Rickhouse and up-close culinary demonstrations with Sip & Savor. All on the historic grounds of Keeneland. For one special weekend in August, the term takes on an added meaning during the 2nd Annual Railbird Festival. Traditionally, a Railbird is a horse racing enthusiast known for sticking close to the action, hanging on the rail as each contender comes barreling down the track. Music lovers enjoy performances from three stages set along the backdrop of the Tennessee River at Ross’s Landing on Riverfront Parkway in downtown Chattanooga.Īt least thirty acts perform each year on the multiple stages ‘between the bridges’ (Olgiati Bridge & Market Street Bridge).
